How do I download Windstream Online Mobile App?

Windstream Online Mobile is available from Google and Apple app stores.

iPhone and iPad Users
Follow the steps below to download the Windstream Online mobile app to your iPhone or iPad (versions 7.X, 8.X only):

  1. Tap the App Store icon from the Home screen.
  2. In the search field, enter Windstream Online Mobile.
  3. Tap the Windstream Online Mobile app.
  4. Tap Install.
  5. Enter your iTunes password, and then tap OK to download and install the app on your iPhone or iPad.

Android Device Users
Follow the steps below to download the Windstream Online mobile app to your Android device (Lollipop 5.0-5.1.1, KitKat 4.4-4.4.4, JellyBeans 4.1-4.3.1 only):

  1. Tap the Play Store icon from your device’s app tray.
  2. In the search field, enter Windstream Online Mobile, and then tap Search.
  3. Select the Windstream Online Mobile app.
  4. Tap Install.

How do I log into Windstream Online Mobile?

You will login using your same username and password currently used with Windstream Online. If you have not yet established a Windstream Online account, please refer to our FAQs on “How to register for Windstream Online.”

What do I do if I forget my username and/or password for Windstream Online Mobile?

From the login screen, tap Forgot Password? Or Forgot Username? And follow the prompts.

How do I log out of the app?

From the home screen in the app, tap the menu icon on the top right corner of the screen. From the menu list provided, choose Sign Out.

No, the app provides a smaller set of management features than the website version.

Can I see a detailed invoice on the mobile app?

You will only be able to view a summary of your invoice. To see a detailed invoice, you will have to access your account through the website.

Why am I not able to see all the Windstream Online website features through the mobile app?

Currently, there are limited features available through the mobile app.

Why am I unable to view invoice details using the mobile app?

You will only be able to view a summary of your invoice. To see the full invoice details, you will need to login through the website.

Can I make payments through the mobile app?

The ability to make a payment through the mobile app varies. If the Manage Payments icon appears on your home page after logging in, you are able to make a payment through the app.

Will my session time out?

You have the ability to apply our seamless login to your account which keeps you logged in for a total of 45 days after your last login. If you do not register for seamless login, your session will timeout after 20 minutes of inactivity.

If I update my account using the mobile app, will my changes sync to the app installed on my other devices and to the website version?

Yes, making changes to your account, whether through the website or mobile app will be reflected in both places.

Can I access multiple accounts via the Windstream Online mobile app?

Yes, but you can only access one account at a time. You must sign out of one account before logging in to the other account.

What should I do if I lose my mobile device that had the Windstream Online mobile app installed on it?

You should go to the website version or the mobile app installed on another device and change your account password.

Is there a maximum number of login attempts before I am locked out of my account?

After 3 incorrect login attempts, your account will be locked for 24 hours.
