The purchase of Nortel Enterprise Solutions by Avaya in late 2009 has had many of our customers wondering what will happen to their Nortel equipment and services.

Our customers can rest assured and can continue to rely on Windstream to support their existing Nortel equipment and services.

In addition, Windstream has become a member of Avaya’s PartnerConnect program. Windstream is currently an Avaya Platinum Partner – Avaya’s highest level partnership.  

It is “business as usual” for us, and we will continue serving our customers with heritage Nortel and Avaya products. Windstream had a decades-old relationship with Nortel dating to the installation of the first digital call-and-data switching equipment that transformed telecommunication services in the United States - and that strong relationship is continuing with Avaya.

Additionally, our technical staff works closely with Avaya on the latest technology and training so that we can install and support customers’ Nortel and Avaya business communication needs today and for years to come.
